Terms of Service

The short version
TinySet is a catalogue of live studio performances, broken down song by song so you can jump straight to the one you want and build setlists out of them. It doesn’t host any video or audio — everything plays through YouTube’s own player. Use it kindly, and the rest of this page covers the details.
Using TinySet
By using the site you’re agreeing to this page and to the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree with something here, please don’t use the site — and if you think I’ve got it wrong, tell me.
Where the videos come from
What TinySet stores is information about performances: titles, artists, and the timestamps marking where each song starts and ends. The performances themselves live on YouTube and play through YouTube’s embedded player. I don’t host, store, or re-host any video or audio file, and none of it is mine — it belongs to the artists, the channels that recorded it, and their rightsholders. Watching an embedded video here also puts you under YouTube’s Terms of Service, which I don’t control.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and you’re responsible for what happens under your account. Pick a username you’d be happy to see next to a setlist you shared. If you think someone else has got into your account, email me and I’ll help sort it out.
What you make here
The setlists you build, the names and tags you give them, the songs you like or hide, the problems you report, and anything you send through a form — those are yours, and you’re responsible for them. Setlists you choose to make public can be seen and saved by anyone. Please don’t use TinySet to post anything illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or deliberately misleading. If something crosses that line I may remove it or suspend the account behind it.
Supporting TinySet
If you donate through Buy Me a Coffee, thank you — it goes towards hosting and towards paying the people who timestamp these performances. A donation is a gift, not a purchase: it doesn’t buy features, content, or a service level, and it isn’t refundable through me. The supporter mark next to your name is a thank-you that lasts a year from when you gave, and donating again extends it. The payment itself is handled by Buy Me a Coffee rather than by TinySet, so their terms cover that part.
TinySet carries no advertising and runs no advertising scripts. It does count page views, so I can see which parts of the site get used — that tool sets no cookies and can’t follow you anywhere else, and the Privacy Policy lists exactly what it records. If advertising ever arrives — a sponsor, or some other way of covering costs — it will be clearly marked as advertising, and this page will say so.
If something here is yours
If you’re an artist, a channel, or a rightsholder and something on TinySet shouldn’t be here, email tinysetter@gmail.com with what the work is, where on TinySet you found it, and how to reach you. I’ll look at it in good faith and reply, and that may mean taking the performance out of the catalogue. Because the video itself lives on YouTube rather than here, removing it from TinySet won’t remove it from YouTube — you’d need to go to YouTube for that.
What I can and can’t promise
TinySet is offered as it is. I can’t promise it will always be up, always be correct, or always behave. Timestamps are placed by people and are sometimes wrong; videos get taken down, made private, or blocked in some countries without warning. If you find a bad timestamp, there’s a “Report a problem” option on every song, and I’d rather hear about it than not.
To the fullest extent the law allows, I’m not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. This is a free site run by one person — please don’t build anything critical on top of it.
Changes
I’ll update this page as TinySet changes, and the date at the top says when I last did. Carrying on using the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
